The BRLD Football team lost 34-14 at home to Ponca Friday night.
The Indians led 14-0 after one, and won the second quarter 14-6 to take a 28-6 lead into the locker room.
Ponca blanked the Wolverines 6-0 in the third quarter to lead 34-6 at the end of three.
BRLD shutout the Indians 8-0 in the fourth quarter.
You never like to lose, but I thought the Wolverines took some steps forward in this game.
BRLD (0-3) wins this week by forfeit as they were scheduled to play Omaha Brownell-Talbot, who has forfeited their season.
The Wolverines' next actual game is next Friday at Oakland-Craig.
