Wisner-Pilger falls at home to Fremont Bergan

The Wisner-Pilger Football team lost 53-0 at home to Fremont Bergan Friday night.

Another very difficult game for the Gators.

Wisner-Pilger (0-5) travels to Oakland to battle Oakland-Craig (4-1) Friday night.

The Knights won 28-20 at home over BRLD this past Friday night.

Oakland-Craig has sort of scuffled and not been on top of their game the last couple of weeks so perhaps the Gators can go in there and find some success.

By that I mean put up a couple of touchdowns and hold the Knights under 50 points.

If Wisner-Pilger can be competitive, and keep the game from being a running clock at all times, I think that could be viewed as a moral victory.

The Gators need something to go their way....something positive to build off of.

It has been such a tough and trying season for Wisner-Pilger that you get to the point where you would like to see something positive go their way.

Perhaps the Gators can put up a couple of scores on offense. I think scoring any sort of points would be positive and encouraging for Wisner-Pilger.

Also holding Oakland-Craig to fewer points than what the Gators have been giving up lately would be good too I think.

Wisner-Pilger has to go out there and fight hard and give it their all Friday night.

The Knights are obviously a very good team, but the Gators have faced nothing but juggernauts so far this year.

Wisner-Pilger is better than what they showed against Fremont Bergan though, in my opinion.

The Gators didn't play that bad the first two games of the season, and are capable of getting back to that, in my opinion.

Wisner-Pilger just has to right the ship, and must continue to work hard, play hard, and have fun.

I know it's probably not easy to have fun when you're losing the way the Gators are, but if Wisner-Pilger can find a way to lighten the mood, it will be to their benefit.

The Gators have to keep pressing forward, growing, and improving.

All Wisner-Pilger can do is press on, and do the best they can the rest of the season.

The Gators have to throw the kitchen sink at Oakland-Craig because at this point what do they have to lose honestly?
