Logan View falls at Yutan
The Logan View Raiders dropped their second straight game Friday night, losing 34-0 at Yutan.
Brady Hull made 12 tackles for the Raiders while Grant Meyer totaled 8.
Logan View had just 16 yards of total offense, 32 passing and -16 rushing.
It's tough to win games putting up those kind of numbers on offense, but I feel like the Raiders made some strides defensively despite the loss.
Logan View (1-2) is at Stanton (3-0) Friday night.
The Mustangs beat Cross County 20-6 at home this past Friday night.
Stanton is good, but the Raiders have to play with no fear.
Logan View has to come in feeling optimistic and must have a chip on their shoulder.
Not many figure the Raiders are going to win Friday night, but all that matters is what these players and coaches believe.
All that matters is what takes place in the locker room. All these players and coaches have to rally around one another and prepare for battle.
Last year's game wasn't close, but that doesn't mean this year's cant be.
With all this said, Logan View has to be much better on offense than they were against the Chieftains.
The Raiders have to run the ball with authority, and be physical.
Logan View must also pass the ball efficiently, and take care of the pigskin.
The defense has to create turnovers and set up short fields for the offense.
Special teams is critical as well. The Raiders have to get good punts off, and kick and return well.
The field position battle will be another thing to keep an eye on, in my opinion.
Logan View has to do the little things well in order to gain an advantage.
The Mustangs are good, but the Raiders have to believe in their abilities, and fight until the very end.
Logan View has to have the same kind of effort they got against Palmyra to have a chance, in my opinion.
