Logan View loses at home to Central City
The Logan View Raiders fell 55-14 at home to Central City Friday night.
Jacob Polk was 4-12 passing for 89 yards with a touchdown and four interceptions.
Logan View totaled 127 yards of offense, 89 coming through the air.
The defense gave up 326 yards, including 226 through the air.
I am surprised the Raiders lost the way they did. I though this game would go much better for Logan View.
The Raiders (1-1) are at Yutan (0-2) Friday night.
The Chieftains may be 0-2, but their losses are to Battle Creek and Centennial, who they lost to 20-14 and 14-12, respectively.
The Broncos beat Central City 38-22.
You can bet Yutan will be fired up and hungry for their first win of the season.
Logan View is definitely capable of beating the Chieftains, but it's going to take a really good effort on the Raiders' part.
Logan View's defense has to be much better than it was against the Bison. The Raiders have to be aggressive and physical at the line of scrimmage, must tackle well, and need to create turnovers.
Logan View also has to take care of the ball offensively. You won't win many games when you throw four interceptions.
Every team is going to have an off game, no one is perfect, but these are just things I think the Raiders can do better to have a better showing Friday night.
Logan View has to get back to doing the things they did the first game of the season against Palmyra.
The Raiders have to put the Central City loss behind them, and move on.
Logan View has to be tough minded come Friday night. The Raiders have to be amped up and ready to play four quarters of football.
