Wisner-Pilger loses to Hartington Cedar Catholic

The Wisner-Pilger Gators suffered another tough loss Friday night, falling 47-22 at Hartington Cedar Catholic.

The Trojans are the real deal, but I'm sure the Gators feel they could have performed better on both sides of the ball.

Wisner-Pilger (0-4) is at Fremont Bergan (1-3) Friday night.

The Knights lost 48-13 at Battle Creek last time out.

The Gators have to view this game as a game they have a chance to win.

Fremont Bergan appears to be down compared to years past, and now is a good time to get the Knights.

It would be a big deal for Wisner-Pilger to knock off a program like Bergan's I'm sure.

The Knights are known for excellence, and if the Gators can knock off a program the caliber of Bergan, it would be a real feel good win for Wisner-Pilger without a doubt.

The Gators have gotten off to a real tough start, but district play begins this week, and if Wisner-Pilger wins out, they are in the playoffs.

Friday night's game against the Knights is a must win if the Gators hope to extend their season.

If Wisner-Pilger loses, the playoffs will most likely not be an option.

The Gators have to hang around and keep things close, and play with a lead, or at the very least, play from behind a possession at the most.

It's time for Wisner-Pilger to win and get the job done. The Gators came close to beating West Point-Beemer, and need to get the job done this time around.

I don't think Fremont Bergan is nearly as good as Crofton, Stanton, or Hartington Cedar Catholic.

Wisner-Pilger can't be scared of or intimidated by the Knights.

The Gators have to get psyched, amped, and fired up for this game.

Wisner-Pilger's season is on the line, and the Gators will be fighting for their playoff lives.

Wisner-Pilger's play must reflect that.

The Gators have to throw the kitchen sink at the Knights and give it all they got.
