Logan View downs Wisner-Pilger

The Logan View Raiders topped Wisner-Pilger 33-20 at home Friday night.

Brady Hull had 93 yards rushing on 20 carries, including three touchdowns. Jacob Polk ran the ball 12 times for 92 yards. Nolan Miller had 76 yards rushing on 13 attempts.

Nathan Taylor made a team-high 16 tackles.

The Raiders racked up 305 yards of total offense, 256 coming on the ground.

I thought Logan View ran the ball very well Friday night. The Gators have had trouble all year stopping the run, and the Raiders took advantage of that.

Logan View (3-5) takes on BRLD (3-5) on the road Friday night.

The Wolverines lost 28-14 at Fremont Bergan Friday night.

The Raiders competed better against Bergan than BRLD did, but the Wolverines played Oakland-Craig tougher so it's hard saying how this game is going to go for sure.

I think the game will be decided by anywhere from 7-14 points.

I think the contest will be close with both teams running the ball well.

There should be a lot of running in this game as both teams can pound the ball and play physical football.

Both teams have the ability to throw too though so don't count out either team's passing game as being a factor in this contest.

It's the last game of the season for both teams so I expect both squads to play their best game of the season.

This game is big for both teams in terms of building for the future and sending their seniors out winners.

Brighter days are ahead for both of these programs, and I think this game could be the start of many heated battles between the two squads in the future.

I look for both teams to get after one another, which should make for a good game.

I think Logan View might have to pull out some trick plays to pick up the win.

BRLD is a tough team, especially at home, and I think it's going to take something extra for the Raiders to win.

Special teams is big too. If Logan View can get a big return or block a kick, it could make a really big difference.
