Logan View loses at Oakland-Craig

The Logan View Raiders lost 28-6 at Oakland-Craig Friday night.

Jacob Polk was 7-17 passing with 96 yards and two interceptions.

Connor Miller made 10 tackles while Nathan Taylor and Nolan Miller had 8 and 7, respectively.

Logan View had 150 yards of total offense, including 96 through the air, while the Knights totaled 280 yards of offense, 260 coming on the ground.

I thought the Raiders played a good game and held their own Friday night. Things certainly could have been much worse.

Logan View (2-5) hosts Wisner-Pilger (0-7) Friday night.

The Gators lost 56-16 at BRLD this past Friday night.

The Raiders should try and pound the ball right at Wisner-Pilger as the Gators gave up 405 yards rushing to the Wolverines.

I think this is a game Logan View has a very good chance to win.

I feel like the Raiders are a team on the rise, and have gotten better, it's just this is a transition year.

I think Logan View has gotten better as the season has gone along, especially on defense.

The Raiders have been better defensively in their last three games than they were before.

With that said, Logan View has to keep getting better, especially offensively.

Wisner-Pilger is a good team to improve offensively against, and I look for the Raiders to have a breakout performance on offense.

I think the game being at Logan View really helps the Raiders too.

It's the final home game of the season for Logan View. The last time these seniors will ever play on their home field.

The playoffs are out of the question so the next best thing is to play for pride and build for next season.

These last two games are very important for the Raiders in building their program.

Logan View has to treat these games with the utmost importance because these are very big games for next year's returning players, and even bigger games for the seniors.

The Raiders have to do their best to go out on top this season. Beating the Gators big would give Logan View a lot of momentum heading into the BRLD game next week, in my opinion.

I look for the Raiders to go out and handle their business. I think the game will be somewhat close, but I look for Logan View to win by anywhere from 2-4 touchdowns.

The Raiders have to do their best to send their seniors out in style in the home finale.
