Tekamah-Herman loses at Fremont Bergan
The struggles continued for the Tekamah-Herman Tigers Friday night as they lost 49-0 at Fremont Bergan.
Tekamah-Herman gave up 381 yards of offense, including 198 through the air.
The Tigers just had another rough night of football. All Tekamah-Herman can do is move on and focus on their next game.
The Tigers (1-6) host Oakland-Craig (6-1) Friday night.
The Knights won 28-6 at home over Logan View this past Friday night.
Tekamah-Herman has to come out inspired and motivated in this game.
This is the final home game of the season for the Tigers, and their chance to play spoiler.
Tekamah-Herman could put a dent in and threaten Oakland-Craig's district title chances with a win Friday night.
I look for the Tigers to come out and play well early, and perhaps punch the Knights in the mouth early.
I just don't know if Tekamah-Herman can keep it up for four quarters.
I think the Tigers will come out psyched, jacked, and fired up, but how well Tekamah-Herman plays after that initial rush of excitement wears off will tell the tail of this game, in my opinion.
The Tigers have to play four quarters of good football against the Knights, and hope to remain close until the fourth quarter to give themselves a chance to win, in my opinion.
Tekamah-Herman has to have a complete turnaround from last week's game if they hope to win this week.
The Tigers have to play with a lot of pride, passion, toughness, tenacity, fire, and grit Friday night.
Tekamah-Herman can't quit and throw in the towel, regardless of what the score is.
It has been a tough, long season for the Tigers that started with a lot of promise.
I'm sure frustrations are starting to boil over, but the most important thing is for everyone to continue to be positive and get along with each other.
Tekamah-Herman has to stay unified as a team, and continue to play team ball no matter what.
There's not one player on the team more important than the other, and everyone needs to be on the same page for this team to have any sort of chance Friday night.
The Tigers have to believe from the start that they can win. If Tekamah-Herman is thinking they've already lost, then they have.
