Logan View loses to Fremont Bergan

The Logan View Raiders lost 21-14 at home in overtime to Fremont Bergan Friday night.

Brady Hull rushed for 74 yards on 16 carries, and scored once. Jacob Polk had 56 yards rushing on 15 carries, and also scored once.

Brett Hull and Lucas Schneck totaled 10 tackles apiece for Logan View while Grant Meyer and Armando Valencia registered 8 each.

The Raiders had 208 yards of total offense, including 160 on the ground.

Logan View came so close to winning, it just didn't happen for the Raiders.

Logan View (2-4) is at Oakland-Craig (5-1) Friday night.

The Knights downed Wisner-Pilger 46-6 on the road last time out.

Oakland-Craig is the odds on favorite to win the district, but I'm sure the Raiders would love to spoil the party.

Logan View really has nothing to lose in this game, and shouldn't be feeling a whole lot of pressure.

The Raiders' offense has to be better than it was against Bergan though, and the defense needs to slow down Oakland-Craig's run game.

The Knights ran for 290 yards and threw for 138 more on the Gators, and Logan View can't expect to win if they give up those kind of numbers.

The goal has to be hold Hoss Smith under 100 yards rushing and hold the team to under 150.

If the Raiders can limit Oakland-Craig to 200-250 yards of total offense at most they should give themselves a shot.

Logan View has to come to ready to play and perform as if their season is on the line.

It really is a must win situation for the Raiders if they want to stay in the thick of the district race.

It will be interesting to see if Logan View can challenge and give the Knights a game.

I think the Raiders are definitely capable of competing with Oakland-Craig somewhat, I just don't know if Logan View is equipped to pull of an upset of this magnitude quite yet.

The Raiders definitely appear to be headed in the right direction, and these last three regular season games are very important.

Logan View is not only playing for pride at this point, they are building for next season as well.

The Raiders aren't out of the playoff picture completely, but a loss to the Knights pretty much seals their fate.
