BRLD loses at home to Norfolk Catholic

 

The BRLD Football Team lost 56-6 at home to Norfolk Catholic Friday night.

Difficult loss to a great team and program for the Wolverines.

BRLD (2-4) takes on David City Aquinas (5-2) on the road Friday night.

The Monarchs won 42-7 at David City last week.

So another tough game on tap for the Wolverines.

BRLD has to answer the bell and come out and play inspired and play better than they did last week.

This is another game the Wolverines could get blown out in.

BRLD hopes that's not the case, but it's certainly possible.

The Wolverines have to come out ready to roll and go from the get go.

BRLD can't rollover and lay down to Aquinas.

That could certainly happen, but hopefully it doesn't.

The Wolverines have really struggled in their losses, but perhaps things will be different come Friday night.

BRLD has Crofton on the road next week as well and at the very least has to compete well and hard against both teams to build for next year.

The playoffs still aren't out of the question for the Wolverines either if they win both games so BRLD has to play as if their season is on the line Friday night.

It's make or break, do or die time for the Wolverines.

BRLD has to play their hearts out and play lights out come Friday night.

The Wolverines can definitely go out there and do well and win, but BRLD has to execute on both sides of the ball and play up to their full potential.
