The Oakland-Craig Football Team blew out Tekamah-Herman 68-14 on the road Friday night.
The Knights led 38-0 at the end of one and 68-0 at halftime.
The Tigers put up all of their points in the 4th quarter.
Tavis Uhing had 127 yards rushing on 13 carries, and scored three times. Grady Gatewood went 7-8 passing for 154 yards with two touchdowns. Gunnar Ray made 3 catches for 85 yards, and scored twice. Carson Thomsen added 7 tackles.
Oakland-Craig amassed 463 yards of total offense, including 286 on the ground.
Tekamah-Herman had 234 yards of total offense, 136 coming through the air.
Another big and dominating win for the Knights.
Oakland-Craig (6-0) hosts Hartington Cedar Catholic (6-0) Friday night.
The Trojans won 29-14 at home over Crofton last week.
I think the Knights will find a way to win this one, but feel the game will be close.
Oakland-Craig won a nail biter against these guys in the playoffs last year so you know Cedar Catholic will be out for revenge.
The Trojans are a tradition rich and proud and great program, and you know they will come ready to play.
The Knights have to come out ready to rock and roll come Friday night.
I wouldn't be surprised if Oakland-Craig just came out on fire and lit things up early and often.
That would be the Knights' style after all.
Cedar Catholic has a very good team though, and it won't be easy to do that against them.
If there's a team that can do it to the Trojans though it is Oakland-Craig.
With the game being in Oakland I look for the Knights to find a way to win and prevail in the end.
