The West Point-Beemer Football Team shutout North Bend Central 25-0 at home Friday night.
The Cadets led 6-0 at the end of the 1st quarter and at halftime, and led 12-0 at the end of the 3rd quarter. West Point-Beemer blanked the Tigers 13-0 in the 4th quarter.
The Cadets gave up 153 yards of total offense, including 83 through the air.
Impressive win for West Point-Beemer, who wrapped up the District.
The Cadets (5-3) round out the regular season at Schuyler (1-7) Friday night.
The Warriors fell 62-0 at Columbus Lakeview last week.
West Point-Beemer should roll to a big win in this one.
This is one of those games where the Cadets want to get their starters some good work, but build a big lead and rest them and put in backups in the second half.
West Point-Beemer honestly should try and rest some guys for the playoffs with the District and a playoff berth wrapped up and everything.
The Cadets have everything wrapped up and finished so West Point-Beemer has to just cap off the regular season by going 6-3.
It has been a pretty solid campaign for West Point-Beemer, and the Cadets have to get multiple kids involved in this one.
West Point-Beemer doesn't need to do anything fancy in this one...the Cadets just have to play their game and go out there and do their thing.
As long as West Point-Beemer does that they figure to be fine.
The Cadets have to come out and play hard and with great effort though.
This isn't one of those games where West Point-Beemer can afford to play passive just because they're playing an opponent they should dominate.
The Cadets have to play and hit hard, and give 110% just like they would in any other game.
As long as West Point-Beemer does that then they should win handily.
