5-2 Howells-Dodge meets 4-3 Clarkson/Leigh in the Bacon Bowl in Howells Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Patriots won 22-20 at home over Wisner-Pilger last week.
Speirs says the Patriots are very dynamic offensively. "They're very explosive offensively. They'll come out and attack you with a lot of different formations and so our kids have really got to be aware of that and make sure we get lined up right."
Clarkson/Leigh been decimated by injury, and will be without the services of QB Lance Paprocki, who is in quarantine.
It's unfortunate that the Patriots have dealt with so many injuries, but the Jaguars can't feel sorry or show sympathy towards Clarkson/Leigh.
Howells-Dodge has to go out there and try and win a football game and improve their playoff seeding.
The Jaguars have to play hard and physical and run the ball well, and try and shut or at least slow down the Patriots' rushing attack.
Howells-Dodge has to play their tails off and try and come away with another Bacon Bowl victory.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame starting at 6:30 on the Bull.
