West Point-Beemer falls at Pierce

The West Point-Beemer Football Team lost 45-8 at Pierce Friday night.

Tough loss for the Cadets, but the Bluejays are a great Football Team.

West Point-Beemer (4-3) plays host to North Bend Central (3-3) Friday night.

The Tigers were doubled up 42-21 at home by Columbus Lakeview last week.

NBC lost 48-28 at Columbus Scotus the week before.

So the Tigers have really struggled the last two weeks after missing the Schuyler game before that due to COVID-19.

It seems like North Bend Central isn't quite the same as they were prior to COVID-19.

West Point-Beemer is already in the playoffs as they have the district wrapped up.

West Point-Beemer could help their seeding cause by winning their last two regular season games though.

The Tigers may be able to climb back into the playoff race with wins over West Point-Beemer this week and Battle Creek next week so you know North Bend Central will be fighting for their season.

The Cadets have to realize that, and come out and play great Football Friday night.

May the best team win.

I think the Cadets have a great shot to win being at home and everything and given how they were playing prior to the loss to Pierce, but North Bend Central is tough and anything can happen.

West Point-Beemer has to be ready and focused and prepared to play.

If the Cadets are ready and play the way they are capable of then they should put themselves in a good position to win.
