Tekamah-Herman falls at home to Oakland-Craig

The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 68-14 at home to Oakland-Craig Friday night.

The Knights led 38-0 at the end of one and 68-0 at halftime.

The Tigers put up all of their points in the 4th quarter.

Brock Rogers was 11-32 passing for 136 yards with a touchdown and five interceptions. Kody Bitter had 12 carries for 80 yards, and scored once. Jason Hoover made 7 catches for 83 yards, and scored once.

Garrison Potadle made 9 tackles.

Tekamah-Herman had 234 yards of total offense, including 136 through the air.

Oakland-Craig racked up 463 yards of total offense, 286 coming on the ground.

I thought the Tigers put forth a great effort despite the loss.

Tekamah-Herman (1-5) takes on Fremont Bergan (6-0) on the road Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Knights won 31-7 at David City Aquinas last week.

Very tough game once again for the Tigers, but Tekamah-Herman has to go in there and play hard and give it their all like they have all year.

One thing you have to give the Tigers credit for is working and playing hard all year.

Tekamah-Herman hasn't quit at any point in the season no matter what the score has been.

The Tigers continue to play hard as if the score is still 0-0.

Tekamah-Herman has to go into Bergan and give things their best shot.

The Tigers have to play physical, and avoid and create turnovers.

Turnovers killed Tekamah-Herman last week, and the Tigers have to do a better job of taking care of the football.

Tekamah-Herman's defense also has to be opportunistic on defense and try to come away with some takeaways.

The Tigers just have to give it all they got Friday night and lay everything out on the line and see what happens.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. with pregame at 6:30 on the Bull.
