The Howells-Dodge Football Team shutout Madison 42-0 at home on Friday.

Fourth Quarter

Howells-Dodge 09:03 #17 Gavin Nelson pass complete to #21 Caleb Perrin for 11 yards. Touchdown! (Two point conversion run is no good.)

Belina had 196 yards rushing on 17 carries, and scored four times. Tomcak went 3-3 with 84 yards passing and a touchdown. Brester made 1 catch for 50 yards.

Belina made 9 tackles while Jestin Bayer had 7.

The Jaguars had 377 yards of total offense, including 282 on the ground.

Head Coach Mike Speirs on the win. "We came out slow tonight, but overall it was a good victory."

Howells-Dodge (4-1) travels to Stanton to take on the Mustangs (3-1) Friday night.

Stanton was supposed to play Wisner-Pilger last week, but the game was cancelled due to COVID-19.

The week prior though the Mustangs defeated Clarkson/Leigh 42-20 at home.

This figures to be a really tough and tall and difficult task for the Jaguars.

Howells-Dodge has to be on top of their game, and must strike quickly, early, and often against Stanton.

The Jaguars also have to be physical and run the ball well.

The Mustangs are physical and run the ball well with Sutton Pohlman, and Howells-Dodge has to be physical and must try and slow down Pohlman.

I think wrapping up and not allowing YAC, or Yards After Contact, is going to be absolutely critical for the Jaguars.
