Tekamah-Herman comes up short against David City

The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 35-14 at home to David City Friday night.

Brock Rogers was 4-23 passing for 87 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Kody Bitter ran the ball 18 times for 57 yards, and scored once. Connor Feiling hauled in 2 passes for 54 yards, and scored once.

Garrison Potadle made 15 tackles while Bitter had 13. Feiling notched 7.

The Tigers had 141 yards of total offense, including 87 passing.

Great effort from Tekamah-Herman, they just didn't do enough to win.

The Tigers (1-7) take on David City Aquinas (6-2) on the road in the final game of the season Friday night.

The Monarchs routed BRLD 72-12 at home last week.

Aquinas also beat David City 42-7.

Tekamah-Herman has to go in there expecting to win Friday night.

The Tigers have to expect to compete and do well.

Just because it's Aquinas doesn't mean Tekamah-Herman is allowed to think they're doomed.

There is no tomorrow for these Seniors, this is the last ever game they will play.

The Tigers have to go out there and dedicate this game to their teammates.

Tekamah-Herman has to play hard and for one another.

The Tigers have to throw everything they have at the Monarchs.

Tekamah-Herman has absolutely nothing to lose in this game so the Tigers should play with reckless abandonment.
