Difficult loss for GACC. The Jaguars really played well in the 2nd half in particular, pulling away.
The Bluejays (4-3) travel to Stanton to take on the Mustangs (5-1) Friday night.
Stanton routed Madison 60-7 on the road Friday.
Stanton can win the District Title outright by winning this game.
GACC has their work cut out for them in this one.
The Mustangs are playing great football right now, and even beat Howells-Dodge.
If the Bluejays get the type of performance they got against Clarkson/Leigh though then perhaps they can win.
It will be tough and won't be easy though given the type of season Stanton is having.
The Mustangs are led by Sutton Pohlman and Gage Tighe.
GACC has to stop the run to be able to be successful in this one.
The Bluejays have to be tough physically and mentally, and must play their tails off to do well in this game.
GACC is easily in the playoffs win or lose, but a win would really help the Bluejays' cause and would perhaps allow them to host a first round playoff game.
I'm thinking Stanton may prove to be too much in this one, but we will see come Friday night.
