GACC hammers Omaha Nation
The GACC Football team won big last Friday night, defeating Omaha Nation 62-8 at home.
No stats and scoring by quarters were available for this game.
The Bluejays (5-0) take on Homer (2-3) on the road Friday night.
The Knights handled the Chiefs 50-6 at home this past Friday night.
Homer is a much improved football team, and nearly beat Pender two weeks ago.
I look for the Knights to compete with and give GACC a game, but ultimately I think the Bluejays will win.
I feel the Bluejays will be too strong and mighty and too much for Homer in the end.
GACC is coming off a bye week so they should be fresh and rested up and ready to go.
Having a bye week could also work against the Bluejays though in that they could come out a little sluggish.
GACC has been notorious for starting slow in certain games this year, and the Bluejays can't afford to get off to a slow start in this one.
GACC has to start fast and out Homer away like they did Omaha Nation two weeks ago.
The Bluejays have to bring their "A" game, and not toy and dink around with the Knights.
The last thing GACC wants to do is let Homer hang in the game, and give them a chance to win.
If you're the Bluejays you want to take the wind right out of the Knights' sail, and give them no chance to win.
GACC can't leave anything to chance. The Bluejays have to get up early and never look back, and cruise to an easy victory.
You can bet Homer will be fired up, especially with the game being at home, so GACC has to match their passion and intensity, and bring their best for four quarters.
I think these last 3 regular season games will be tougher for the Bluejays than one might of thought at the beginning of the season.
GACC should still win them all, but the Bluejays must be on top of their game from here on out if they want to continue to win impressively.
GACC can't just win these last three games, the Bluejays need to win them emphatically and in impression fashion.
With Howells-Dodge and Creighton having great seasons too GACC has to keep playing well to prepare for a potential matchup with one or both of them in the playoffs.
