Logan View comes up short against Fremont Bergan

The Logan View Football Team came up short Friday night, losing 12-7 at Fremont Bergan.

The Raiders led 7-6 at halftime, but just couldn't get the job done.

Logan View still battled very hard though.

The Raiders (4-2) host Oakland-Craig (5-1) Friday night in High School Football on 107.9 the Bull.

The Knights beat Wisner-Pilger 61-12 at home last Friday night.

This is a huge game for both teams, but especially Logan View.

Reason being if the Raiders lose this contest they're out of the District Race.

A win for Logan View would make things very interesting in the district.

This is probably the biggest game of the season so far for the Raiders, probably even bigger than the Bergan game.

Oakland-Craig is a well respected power, and a very good team, and Logan View has a chance to knock them off on their home field.

The Raiders have to try and slow down the Knights' passing game. Getting physical with Garrett Seagren and Kobe Benne might be a good idea for Logan View.

Also getting a pass rush on Evan Reinert will be critical as well, in my opinion.

If the Raiders can take away Oakland-Craig's passing game, or at least cut down on Reinert's number of completions and big pass plays, they could win the game.

I would say that is the key to the game for Logan View. Force the Knights to beat them with their running game.

On offense, the Raiders have to get Jacob Polk and others going.

Logan View has to run the ball well, and be physical at the line of scrimmage, while also converting on some passes.

The Raiders' defense has to do what they did last week, and the offense has to get back to playing the way they did against Tekamah-Herman and Stanton.

Logan View will be on the Bull, and has to be excited about being on the radio.

This is a very highly touted and anticipated game, and I can't wait to see how things unfold.

I think both teams are very good, and we could be in for a thriller on the Bull.

Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. with the Lincoln Street Market Pregame Show beginning at 5:40, again on 107.9 the Bull, your home for Northeast Nebraska High School Sports!!!!

Should be a great one. Come join us.
