Tekamah-Herman drops game to rival Oakland-Craig

The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 47-6 at Oakland-Craig Friday night.

It was the Tigers' 8th straight loss to the Knights.

It was just another difficult night all the way around for Tekamah-Herman you could say.

The Tigers (1-7) host Wisner-Pilger (0-8) in the season finale Friday night.

The Gators lost 56-20 at home to Logan View this past Friday night.

Who can forget last year's game in Wisner when the Gators won 72-26 and racked up a school and 11-man state record 777 yards of total offense, including 531 on the ground.

That broke Wisner-Pilger's school record of 590 set in 2011.
Wisner-Pilger also broke Omaha South's 11 man all-class record of 760 yards set in 1991.

You can bet Tekamah-Herman hasn't forgotten about that game and will look to do something about it Friday night.

It has been a long, tough season for both teams yet again, and the Tigers will look to take out a year long's frustration of losing and disappointment out on the Gators.

Wisner-Pilger is a young team, but has to feel they have a good shot to win too.

It should be a good, close, entertaining, and compelling game, but I think Tekamah-Herman will find a way to pull this one out.

While 2-7 isn't an ideal record, it's improvement from last year, and a win would be a great way to end the season.

The Tigers have to come out fired up and motivated given how they were beat by this team last year.

Tekamah-Herman has to come out and put things all together, and play their best game of the season Friday night.

Forever is about to happen for these seniors, and the Tigers need to go out there and give it everything they've got, and must not hold anything back.

Tekamah-Herman has to go out there and leave it all out on the field for themselves, their teammates, coaches, parents, and fans.

The Tigers have to go out there and play for the glory of the game.

Tekamah-Herman has to seize the moment and opportunity Friday night.
