Horejsi had 246 yards rushing on 33 carries, including 5 touchdowns. Darrin Pokorny was 7-8 passing with 150 yards and two touchdowns. Luke Rocheford hauled in 3 passes for 113 yards and scored twice.

Josh Brester, Levi Belina, and Trevor Schumacher each had 9 tackles while Pokorny made 8.

The Jaguars racked up 460 yards of total offense, including 310 rushing.

The defense gave up 344 yards of total offense, including 259 through the air.

Big time performance from Howells-Dodge, especially on offense. Having Horejsi back really made a difference it appears.

The Jaguars (5-2) round out the regular season at Madison (1-6) Friday night.

The Dragons lost 90-26 at Lutheran High Northeast last week.

This should be a big win to end the regular season for Howells-Dodge.

The Jaguars are sitting pretty in terms of playoff seeding right now, but Howells-Dodge needs Kade Hegemann back to solidify their defense.

Horejsi is so valuable on offense and Hegemann so valuable defensively.

And when Howells-Dodge has them both I feel they can knock off anyone.

When it's just Horejsi the Jaguars are still a very tough team, but without them both Howells-Dodge is very vulnerable.

The Jaguars have to come out and build a big early lead and rest starters against the Dragons.

Howells-Dodge has to get everyone ample and valuable playing time in this one.

The Jaguars need to come out and take care of business early so they can rest their players for the playoffs.

I don't know if Howells-Dodge wants to go as far as to rest starters the whole game like they do in the NFL, but I'd say playing them a half or 2 1/2 quarters should do it.

I think the Jaguars can make a playoff run, but Howells-Dodge has to have everyone and be at full strength.

The Jaguars have to pound the rock with Horejsi and let Pokorny chip in in the passing game.

I feel Pokorny has really come along nicely this season, and has really blossomed and developed in this offense.

Howells-Dodge can really score the ball we know that, but can the Jaguars be forceful on defense and limit Madison?

I think if Howells-Dodge can turn in a big defensive performance Friday night it will give them a lot of confidence heading into the playoffs.

Lutheran High Northeast has the District wrapped up, but the Jaguars are still playing for playoff positioning and a 6-2 regular season record.

All Howells-Dodge can do is finish the regular season strong with a victory.
