Logan View/Scribner-Snyder drops home game to Wayne

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team lost 26-16 at home to Wayne Friday night.

Another frustrating and difficult loss for the Raiders I'm sure.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder (1-5) takes on Pierce (6-0) on the road in High School Football that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull Friday night.

The Bluejays won 44-22 at Columbus Lakeview last week.

Pierce might be the best team in C-1 outside of Aurora.

The Bluejays appear to be the real deal, having beaten the likes of Norfolk Catholic, Ord, Columbus Scotus pretty handily.

Pierce won 42-14 at Wayne if that says anything.

So the Bluejays are a great team, but I feel the Raiders are a better team than their record shows.

I don't think a 1-5 mark reflects how good this LVSS team actually is.

I just think the Raiders have been dealt some tough breaks over the course of the season.

Perhaps LVSS will come out and play well and inspired.

I look for the Raiders to be on top of their game and give Pierce their best shot.

All of Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's remaining games are tough so the Raiders have to use each contest as an opportunity to win and send out the seniors winners, and also to build for next year.

There will be a lot of teachable moments in these next few games without a doubt I'm sure, and LVSS has to remain positive and willing to learn.

The teaching and learning part of the game never stops, and the Raiders have to keep hard at it for 4 quarters.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to do everything they can to get their seniors a win Friday night, and has to play as well as they can.

The Raiders have to be better on both sides of the ball than they have been, and must get physical with a very good Pierce team.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to go into Pierce with the attitude that they have nothing to lose.

The Raiders have to play error and mistake free football, and play calm and unnerved.

Again, LVSS has absolutely nothing to lose so there shouldn't be a ton of nerves, at least after early on.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. in Pierce with pregame at 6:30 on the Bull.
