Winnebago falls at Wisner-Pilger

The Winnebago Football Team lost 34-14 at Wisner-Pilger Friday night.

Great effort by the Indians, but Winnebago came up a little short.

The Indians (2-3) host Omaha Nation (0-5) Friday night.

The Chiefs lost 60-12 at home to GACC last week.

I look for Winnebago to win this one pretty handily.

Omaha Nation has really struggled this season and hasn't been in any of their games.

The Indians should have no trouble or problem beating Omaha Nation.

Winnebago has to come out and play a great game and put things all together.

The Indians have to come out and take it to the Chiefs for 4 quarters.

Winnebago has to play their tails off and build a big lead and get everyone playing time.

Backups may not play much if at all in the final two games of the season so the Indians have to get everyone as much playing time as possible in this one as long as they can build a big enough lead.

Winnebago has to come out and run the ball well and pass it effectively as well.

The Indians have to play shutdown defense, and come out and stop the run and pass also.

Winnebago has to put together a complete game and dominant performance, and must show no mercy to Omaha Nation.

This one is for bragging rights, and if the Indians win they can talk all they want for the next year.

T.J. Frenchman, Prosper Gilpin, Tyrese Gorrin, and Robbie Lovejoy all need to have big games for Winnebago.

These four have been relied upon all season to carry the load, and I look for them to do that again Friday night.

It should be a memorable night and game for the Indians, and Winnebago has to put things all together and play a great game.

These seniors only have 3 games left in their high school Football careers, and then that is it.

Most if not all of these seniors will never play another down of organized Football in their life after this season.

That's why the Indians have to make the most of these last few games, and go out there and win Friday night.
