BRLD drops 3rd straight in loss to Hartington Cedar Catholic

The BRLD Football Team lost 50-8 at home to Hartington Cedar Catholic Friday night.

Tough loss for the Wolverines. I don't think having to miss the Yutan game cause of COVID-19 helped matters.

BRLD (1-3) travels to Ponca to battle the Indians (1-4) Friday night.

Ponca lost 38-20 at Norfolk Catholic last week.

Tekamah-Herman beat the Indians 7-6, and the Wolverines defeated the Tigers 44-24.

So based on that, BRLD should win.

Each game is different though.

Every game is different in terms of location and date and perhaps personnel.

Just because the Wolverines beat Tekamah-Herman and Ponca didn't doesn't guarantee a BRLD win over the Indians.

The Wolverines have struggled and are reeling.

BRLD needs something good to happen to gain some confidence and momentum.

The Wolverines have played a gauntlet of a schedule so far this season, but BRLD needs better offensive production.

The Wolverines have really struggled on that side of the ball, and on the defensive side of the ball for that matter as well.

BRLD has to find a way to perform at a higher level on both sides of the ball.

If the Wolverines can elevate their game on both sides of the ball they figure to have a good shot of winning this one.
