Tekamah-Herman drops contest at Crofton

The Tekamah-Herman Football Team lost 49-6 at Crofton Friday night.

The Warriors led 6-0 at the end of one and 28-0 at halftime.

Crofton shutout the Tigers 14-0 in the 3rd quarter to go up 42-0 at the end of three.

The Warriors won the 4th quarter 7-6.

Brock Rogers was 3-14 for 91 yards with a touchdown and an interception.

Jason Hoover made an 84-yard TD reception.

Cole Bottger and Garrison Potadle each had 11 tackles while Kaleb Quick had 10, and Logan Burt 7.

Tekamah-Herman had 114 yards of total offense, including 91 through the air.

Another loss to a tough opponent for the Tigers.

Tekamah-Herman (1-4) plays host to Oakland-Craig (5-0) Friday night.

The Knights toppled David City Aquinas 28-12 at home last week.

I don't know what the Tigers can do in this game to win it.

Oakland-Craig is simply an exceptional and amazing team and program.

Tekamah-Herman has to come into this game fearless and unafraid though.

The Tigers have to want to emulate what the Knights do and build their program like Oakland-Craig has.

The Knights continue to elevate their program, and it's a model that Tekamah-Herman has to follow too.

The Tigers have played such a tough schedule this year and haven't had much of a break.

The last three games, in particular, have been tough, and 3 out of the last four regular season games aren't any easier.

Perhaps Tekamah-Herman can beat David City at home the second to last week of the regular season.

This game with Oakland-Craig is a rivalry game though, and the Tigers have to go into it slugging and must be ready to play.

Tekamah-Herman has to give the Knights their best shot and everything they could ever want and handle and then some.
