The Tekamah-Herman Football Team fell 42-6 at home to Bishop Neumann Friday night.
The Cavaliers led 7-0 at the end of one and 21-0 at halftime. Neumann equaled their first half scoring total in the 3rd quarter, putting up 21 more points to go up 42-0 at the end of three. The Tigers' lone score of the game came in the 3rd quarter.
Garrison Potadle made 11 tackles while Kody Bitter had 9.
Tekamah-Herman had 130 yards of total offense, including 106 on the ground. The defense gave up 320 yards of total offense, including 193 rushing.
Another loss to a very good team for the Tigers.
Tekamah-Herman (1-3) takes on Crofton (1-2) on the road Friday night.
The Warriors fell 22-14 at David City Aquinas last week.
Crofton may be 1-2, but they're comparable to Neumann, in my opinion.
The Tigers are going to need to play a great game Friday night in order to win, but they can definitely do it.
Tekamah-Herman has to go out there and compete at a high level and play well Friday night.
I feel like the Tigers' schedule has been tough and hasn't done them any favors.
Tekamah-Herman has struggled on both sides of the ball for the most part, but could definitely get things going before season's end.
The Tigers just have to find a way to get things going offensively and defensively against Crofton Friday night.
Tall and tough task ahead for Tekamah-Herman, but I feel the Tigers are up to it and have what it takes to compete and do well Friday night.
