Emerson-Hubbard loses at home to Randolph

The Emerson-Hubbard Football Team fell 40-14 at home to Randolph Friday night.

The Cardinals led 8-6 at the end of the 1st quarter, and outscored the Pirates 26-8 in the 2nd quarter to take a 34-14 lead into the locker room.

Randolph won the 4th quarter 6-0 to make up the final score.

Tough loss for Emerson-Hubbard, but it's on to the next game.

The Pirates (1-2) travel to Walthill Friday afternoon to take on the Blujays (0-3).

Walthill fell 64-24 at home to O'Neill St. Mary's last week.

The Blujays may be 0-3, but they have played a tough schedule.

This should be a great game though, and one Emerson-Hubbard can definitely win.

I'm sure the Pirates were disappointed in the Randolph loss, but now is the time to bounce back if you are Emerson-Hubbard.

The Pirates have a shot at redemption this week so now is the time to take advantage of it if you are Emerson-Hubbard.

The Pirates can't let an opportunity for a win slip through the cracks and their fingers.

Emerson-Hubbard needs this one if they hope to make the playoffs this year.

This is a must win for the Pirates, and Emerson-Hubbard has to go out there and perform at a very high level.

Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
