The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team lost a heartbreaking/gut wrenching game at home to Wayne Friday night, 14-10.
The Raiders got on the board first, going up 7-0 before the Blue Devils outscored LVSS 7-3 in the 2nd quarter to make it a 10-7 game at halftime in favor of the home team.
Wayne scored their game winning touchdown in the 3rd quarter and held on for the win.
Tough loss and a tough pill to swallow if you are Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, but all the Raiders can do is put it behind them and move forward. Can't dwell on the past now.
LVSS (0-1) takes on David City (1-0) on the road Friday night.
The Scouts won 16-6 at home over Twin River in last week's season opener.
I feel like Wayne is tougher than the Titans, and as long as the Raiders play the way they did against the Blue Devils or better Friday night, they should win.
This is a game where Logan View/Scribner-Snyder shouldn't expect to just win, but expect to dominate and win big.
The Raiders need to go there and have fun while taking out their frustrations from the Wayne game on the David City.
LVSS has to put up some points to give themselves some confidence.
I feel like finishing drives is going to be key for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder.
BRLD comes calling next week, and so the Raiders could really use a big bounce back win to gain some confidence and momentum for the contest with the Wolverines.
LVSS should win Friday night, but the Raiders have to go out there and be authoritative and dominant.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to leave no doubt as to who the better team is come Friday night.
