Paprocki was 7-14 for 171 yards passing with a touchdown.

Eli Hays hauled in 4 passes for 90 yards and Hanel 4 for 81 yards with a touchdown.

Isaak Wiese had a team-high 7 tackles.

The Patriots racked up 246 yards of total offense, including 171 passing.

The defense gave up 367 yards of total offense, including 237 on the ground.

What sticks out to me about this game is a lack of a run game for Clarkson/Leigh. Imagine what having Tommy McEvoy would have done for the Patriots.

Clarkson/Leigh (0-1) hosts Humphrey St. Francis (1-0) in Leigh Friday night in action that will be heard on 107.9 the Bull.

The Flyers won 50-6 at home over Wynot last week.

This is going to be an extremely difficult game for the Patriots, especially without McEvoy.

Humphrey St. Francis does and is accustomed to playing for State Championships each and every season.

The Flyers would be tough to beat even with McEvoy, but going up against them without him makes things even tougher.

But all that simply means is others have to step up and play well.

Everyone has to enhance and raise their level of play.

Each and every player has to make themself more accountable than they would of McEvoy was in the lineup.

The Patriots have to keep fighting and playing with the heart of a champion.

Clarkson/Leigh has to challenge themselves up front, and open up lanes for the run game.

It's going to be tough for the Patriots to win many games if they can't run the ball.

Clarkson/Leigh's line and backs have to man up and find a way to run the football.

The Jaguars have an exceptional run defense, and so I'm sure the Flyers do as well.

The off week should help the Patriots out quite a bit though.

Clarkson/Leigh has had an extra week to prepare for the Flyers, and I think that's definitely an advantage for the Patriots.

Humphrey St. Francis had to focus on the Blue Devils last week while Clarkson/Leigh didn't play so that's an advantage from a preparation standpoint for the Patriots I feel.

Playing a game more recently might be an advantage for the Flyers though, we will see.

Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame at 6:30 on the Bull.
