Great and huge win for Howells-Dodge. It was really big for the Jaguars to get this one.

Howells-Dodge (3-0) travels to Norfolk to take on Lutheran High Northeast (2-1) Friday night.

LHNE lost 58-24 at Wakefield last week.

Another big game for the Jaguars, this time on the road.

Howells-Dodge had an off week, and is coming off a huge win over the Trojans.

The Eagles just suffered a really tough defeat at the hands of Wakefield.

So you know LHNE will come out very upset and fired up while the Jaguars are probably feeling pretty confident right now.

Howells-Dodge can't get caught up in comparing scores though.

The Jaguars have to come out and play exactly the same way they did against the Trojans.

Howells-Dodge has to come out hungry, determined, and focused, and has to take it to Lutheran High Northeast for four quarters.

The Jaguars need the same type of effort they got against GACC as well.

Howells-Dodge has to play great and with a chip on their shoulder.

The Jaguars have to run and pass the ball well against the Eagles to win.

Howells-Dodge didn't have any success passing the ball against the Trojans so the passing game has to be a concern, but the Jaguars can't complain too much when they win.

All that matters is what you win, but for Howells-Dodge they need to come out and do it emphatically Friday night.

The Jaguars can't just be happy or satisfied with a close win, Howells-Dodge has to come out and smash and dominate like Howells teams of the past always did.

I'm sure the Jaguars would take a win in this game any way they can get it, but Howells-Dodge has lots of tough games still left on the schedule, and so it's important for the Jaguars to play as well as possible in this one.

Howells-Dodge can't take LHNE lightly or for granted...the Jaguars need to treat this game as if it is a big playoff game or something of that sort.

It's a huge district game, and Howells-Dodge could put a dent in the Eagles' District Title hopes with a win.

The Jaguars need to understand and realize that LHNE will come out and give it their all and throw everything they've got at them.

So it's important for Howells-Dodge to be ready and respond and simply play their brand of football.
