Oakland-Craig steamrolls Hartington Cedar Catholic

The Oakland-Craig Football Team won big over Hartington Cedar Catholic Friday night, winning 50-13 at home.

The Knights led 20-0 at the end of one, and blanked the Trojans 30-0 in the 2nd quarter to take a 50-0 lead into the locker room.

Cedar Catholic scored 6 points in the 3rd quarter and 7 in the 4th to make up the final score.

Huge and dominant win for Oakland-Craig. The Knights' offense really exploded.

Oakland-Craig (2-0) hosts Ponca (0-2) Friday night.

The Indians lost 52-12 at BRLD last week.

Ponca also lost 42-12 to Tekamah-Herman in Week 1 so the Knights should be able to win this one big.

Oakland-Craig has to do what they did against the Trojans though which is score early and often against Ponca and put the Indians away by halftime.

I was super impressed with the Knights last week, that was such a super and dominant performance.

Oakland-Craig has to come out and have the same kind of effort Friday night.

The Knights have to play smashmouth football and really hit Ponca hard.

Oakland-Craig has to be physical at the line of scrimmage and must have good offensive balance.

I really think the Knights will be undefeated heading into the Bergan game later in the season.

These next four games should be wins for Oakland-Craig as long as they come ready to play.

I could see Tekamah-Herman giving the Knights a run for their money, but Oakland-Craig is a great football team.

This team performs amazing each and every year, and this year is no exception.

The Knights really get the most out of themselves and each other, and that's the sign of a great program.

Oakland-Craig is showing no signs of slowing down this year as the Knights have flexed their muscles in the early season.

Oakland-Craig has to keep it up, and must keep the pedal to the metal so to speak.

The Knights can't let up or get complacent with where they are at given how strong and good BRLD is this year.

That game figures to be a heck of a game when the two teams meet, and both could very well be undefeated heading into that contest.

Oakland-Craig made a statement last week so what do they do for an encore this week? We will soon find out.
