Logan View/Scribner-Snyder comes up short against Boone Central/Newman Grove
The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team lost 28-21 at home to Boone Central/Newman Grove Friday night.
The Raiders gave up 241 yards of total offense, including 147 through the air.
Another tough, close loss for LVSS.
The Raiders (0-5) take on Wayne (3-2) on the road Friday night.
The Blue Devils lost 42-0 at Pierce last week.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to go into this game with a good game plan and belief that they can win.
Just because things haven't gone the Raiders' way so far this year doesn't mean they can give up on the season and fold.
LVSS has to continue to play hard and fight every week as if they were undefeated.
It's frustrating when close losses mount as I'm sure the Raiders are sick and tired of losing close games and coming up short.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to continue to fight the good fight, and try and get over that hump this week.
The Raiders have to come out and play like the best 0-5 team in the state, or a team that is better than 0-5.
LVSS could easily be 4-1 right now, but instead they are 0-5.
3 losses by 7 points or less and another by 11 in a game in which they led in the 4th quarter.
It has just been finding a way to win and getting over the hump that has hampered and haunted and escaped the Raiders.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to find a way to bounce back and keep fighting and battling.
The Raiders have to find a way to erase that goose egg in the loss column.
LVSS can do that with a win Friday night.
The next three games are very tough for the Raiders, but Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to be thinking why can't they be wins?
The Raiders have been in almost every game this year, and if some breaks go their way we would be talking about a completely different team right now.
But we're not as LVSS is 0-5 so it is what it is, and all the Raiders can do is continue to fight and play hard and change their fortunes before season's end.
The Raiders have to keep giving it their all, and find a way to get over the hump at some point this season.
