Logan View/Scribner-Snyder loses at home to Fort Calhoun

The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team fell 21-10 at home to Fort Calhoun Friday night.

The Raiders went up 7-0 in the 1st quarter before the Pioneers tied the game up at 7 heading into halftime.

LVSS added a field goal in the 3rd quarter to go up 10-7 before the Pioneers scored two 4th quarter touchdowns to win.

The Raiders gave up 304 yards of total offense, including 175 through the air.

Absolutely crushing and devastating loss for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder. The Raiders had the lead heading into the 4th quarter, but couldn't hang on.

LVSS (0-4) plays host to Boone Central/Newman Grove (1-3) Friday night.

The Cardinals beat Arlington 7-6 at home last week.

Despite their struggles, I think the Raiders can win this one.

BC/NG has struggled this year as well, and so something has to give in this game.

It's the start of District play, and it's really important and imperative that Logan View/Scribner-Snyder bounces back and plays well.

The Raiders have a tough road to hoe in the next three games after this one, but at least if LVSS can get this one it would be something positive to build on.

Wayne, Pierce, and Columbus Scotus are all very good teams, and those are the three opponents the Raiders will face after playing the Cardinals.

LVSS has to focus on and worry about BC/NG right now though.

The Raiders have to put all their energy and effort into trying to win this game.

This is a game Logan View/Scribner-Snyder needs badly.

If the Raiders don't get this one then they may only have one more realistic shot at a win.

I really thought LVSS would beat Fort Calhoun, but the Raiders couldn't quite get the job done for whatever reason.

Hopefully Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can find a way to win this week because the Raiders need a win in a big way.

LVSS has to come out and play well and up to their potential Friday night.

The Raiders have been very Jekyll and Hyde this year in that they'll play real well one week and not so well the next week.

It's Logan View/Scribner-Snyder's week to play well so hopefully the Raiders can get the job done this week.

I think they can and will, but I wouldn't be surprised or shocked by a loss either given the way their season has gone.

I hope that doesn't happen though as I would really like to see LVSS pick up their first win of the year Friday night.
