The Jaguars racked up 367 yards of total offense, including 237 on the ground.
The defense gave up 246 yards of total offense, 171 coming through the air.
Really nice win for Howells-Dodge, a good start to the season for the Jaguars.
Howells-Dodge (1-0) travels to GACC (0-1) Friday night in action that can be heard on 107.9 the Bull.
The Bluejays lost 30-20 at home to East Butler last week.
GACC beat the Jaguars twice last season, including in the 2nd round of the playoffs.
I think the tables could very well be turned this time around.
I feel Howells-Dodge is in a really good position to take down the Bluejays this time around.
I have to say I was surprised GACC lost to East Butler.
I thought the Bluejays would roll to a big win.
Perhaps the Tigers are a better team than what I'm giving them credit for, but they had a tough year last year after winning the State Championship two years ago.
You have to figure GACC will still come out and play a good game this coming Friday night though.
The Bluejays aren't just going to quit and allow the Jaguars to come in and run all over them.
Howells-Dodge is going to see a team hungry, motivated, and determined I am sure.
The Jaguars have to be mighty pumped and fired up given what took place, happened, and transpired last year though.
Howells-Dodge has to go into Beemer and make amends for what took place in the playoffs there last year.
The Jaguars have Wakefield and Lutheran High Northeast after this so it would be really big for Howells-Dodge to pick up a win Friday night.
I'm sure the Jaguars would love to make GACC 0-2 on the season.
It's hard to imagine the Bluejays starting 0-2, but it could very well happen.
Howells-Dodge would really love for it to happen too.
For it to happen I think Pokorny and Rocheford need to have big games offensively.
Those two have to have it working in both the passing and running games in order for the Jaguars to be successful I would say.
Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with pregame at 6:30 on the Bull.
