Winnebago falls to Lutheran High Northeast

The Winnebago Football Team fell 55-22 at home to Lutheran High Northeast Friday night.

Tough game for the Indians, but the Eagles are pretty good.

Winnebago (0-2) battles Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (1-0) on the road Friday night.

The Bears won 32-20 at Randolph last Friday night.

Another good and solid opponent for the Indians that will challenge them no doubt.

I think defense is definitely the key in this one for Winnebago.

The Indians need to play better defense than they have the first two weeks of the season to win, in my opinion.

The offense has been solid for the most part I feel though.

Winnebago has to keep fighting and must find a way to bounce back from last week.

The start of the season hasn't been the easiest for or kindest to the Indians, but it's important for Winnebago to bounce back.

How you fight back and respond to adversity is what ultimately defines you.

The Indians have to crank up their efforts and hit harder than they ever have before.

Winnebago has to get physical up front and stuff the run.

The Indians have to be both mentally and physically tough.

Winnebago's seniors have to be leaders and step up and lead this team.

The Indians have to find ways to get off the field defensively to give their offense more snaps.

Winnebago has to keep getting better on both sides of the ball, and keep improving until they are top notch.

The Indians haven't played a game away from home this year yet so it will be interesting to see how Winnebago fares on the road for the first time in 2019..
