The Bluejays added 22 third quarter points to go up 54-20 at the end of three.

Howells-Dodge #10 Tyler Polacek runs for 10 yards. (Two point conversion run by #30 Luke Renter no good)Guardian Angels Central Catholic #8 Nolan Plagge runs for 13 yards. (Two point conversion run by #12 Mitchell Hass good)
Polacek had 67 yards rushing on 11 carries, and scored three times.
Kade Hegemann made 11 tackles while Polacek had 10. Zach Bayer notched 9 while Mitchell Prusa and Luke Renter racked up 8 and 7, respectively.
Howells-Dodge had 213 yards of offense, including 174 on the ground.
The defense gave up 474 yards, 337 coming on the ground.
The Jaguars gave it their all, but the Bluejays proved to be too deep and too talented to lose.
Polacek did what he could, but GACC did a good job not letting him go off on them.
Howells-Dodge (2-1) looks to rebound on Friday when they take on Clarkson/Leigh (3-0) at home.
The Patriots beat Cedar Bluffs 68-30 Friday night, and appear to have things rolling.
Clarkson/Leigh hasn't faced as good a team as the Jaguars yet, but the Patriots are still a tough team, and should prove to be a difficult challenge for Howells-Dodge.
The Jaguars have to play four quarters of outstanding football. Howells-Dodge has to have the type of effort they did in the first quarter of the GACC game to come away with the win.
The Jaguars' playmakers have to step up and perform.
Polacek, Bayer, Renter, and Jordan Brichacek (if he's playing) all need to have big games for Howells-Dodge.
The Jaguars can't let one loss lead to another.
Howells-Dodge has to find a way to rebound and get back on the winning track.
The Jaguars don't want to fall to Clarkson/Leigh with Creighton and Fullerton still looming on the schedule.
This is a rivalry game though, and it will be difficult I'm sure.
The Patriots probably feel they have a really good chance to beat Howells-Dodge this year as they should.
The Jaguars are going to have to play a very good game to come out on top. Clarkson/Leigh is no doubt going to bring it, which means Howells-Dodge better be ready to go from start to finish.
