Logan View tops Homer

The Logan View Raiders downed Homer 40-8 at home Friday night to improve to 2-1 on the season.

Logan View went up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter and added 12 second quarter points to lead 26-0 at halftime.

The Raiders put up 14 more points in the third quarter to go up 40-0 at the end of three. The Knights scored their points in the fourth quarter to make up the final score.

This was a good win for Logan View. The Raiders responded nicely following the Stanton loss. This is just what the doctor ordered for Logan View.

The Raiders (2-1) are at Wisner-Pilger (1-2) Friday night.

The Gators lost 63-6 at Battle Creek this past Friday night.

It was a difficult loss for Wisner-Pilger, who will no doubt be jacked and fired up to get back on the winning track this week.

Logan View had better be ready to play as the Gators are a better team than they showed against the Braves, in my opinion.

Outside of the Stanton game, this may be the Raiders' toughest challenge yet this season.

Logan View is definitely capable of winning, but it's going to be tough. The Raiders have to come ready to play from the start, and must be ready to battle for four quarters.

Logan View has to run the ball with great success. Wisner-Pilger gave up 409 yards rushing to Battle Creek so their defense can definitely be run on.

The Raiders have to be physical at the line of scrimmage, and push the Gators off the ball.

This could very well be a four quarter game. Things could come down to the final drive or even the final play.

Logan View has to want it more than Wisner-Pilger.

It will be interesting to see if the Raiders can get the job done Friday night. I think Logan View is definitely capable of winning the game, but it could be a nail biter. It's important for the Raiders to make plays throughout the game to put themselves in a good position to win.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. in Wisner. Pregame is set for 6:40 on 107.9 the Bull.
