North Bend Central loses at home to Madison













The North Bend Central Tigers lost 27-15 at home to Madison Friday night.

North Bend Central led 7-0 at halftime, but the Dragons exploded for 20 third quarter points to take a 20-7 lead into the fourth quarter.

The Tigers scored 8 fourth quarter points compared to 7 for Madison.

North Bend Central gave up 230 yards of offense, including 223 on the ground.

The game definitely didn't go the way the Tigers would have liked. Take away the third quarter and North Bend Central wins, but the Tigers didn't play four complete quarters of football, and it proved to be costly.

North Bend Central (1-3) is at Bishop Neumann (3-1) Friday night.

The Cavaliers beat Fort Calhoun 39-7 last time out, and have been a tough team all season long.

Neumann is a great team year in and year out, and the Tigers definitely have their work cut out for them in this game.

North Bend Central can't back down from the Cavaliers though. The Tigers have to go into this game believing they can win.

North Bend Central has to expect to win. The Tigers can't play not to lose.

North Bend Central has to be tough up front, and has to stay in the game early.

The Tigers can't afford to get off to a bad start.

North Bend Central started well against Madison, but couldn't finish.

The Tigers have to play well from start to finish to have a chance to beat Bishop Neumann.

It's going to be difficult, but North Bend Central has to play with high energy.

The Tigers have to get fired, jacked, and amped up for this game.

North Bend Central has to create their own excitement and energy. The Tigers have to be pumped up for Friday Night Lights. There's nothing better than high school football on a Friday night. North Bend Central has to get themselves mentally and physically ready for this game.
