BRLD shuts out Louisville

The BRLD Football Team routed Louisville 58-0 at Platteview Friday night.

The Wolverines led 44-0 at halftime and scored 14 more points in the second half to make up the final score.

Will Gatzemeyer had 166 yards rushing on 11 carries, and scored four touchdowns. Kobe Lyons had 59 yards on 5 carries, scoring twice.

Gatzemeyer was 5-9 passing for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Braxton Bargmann hauled in 5 passes for 123 yards.

Gus Gomez made 11 tackles while Colten Briggs made 10.

BRLD totaled 413 yards of total offense, including 252 rushing.

Great performance by the Wolverines. Total team effort and performance for sure.

BRLD (7-0) takes on Fremont Bergan (6-1) on the road Friday night.

Bergan lost 52-0 at Oakland-Craig Friday night.

The Wolverines have to come out and be super impressive this week.

Oakland-Craig took Bergan to the woodshed, and BRLD has to do the same.

I still say Oakland-Craig and BRLD are the two best teams in C-2.

That should be a great matchup, but both of these teams have to get through this week's games first.

There's a lot of work to do for both this teams this week before having an undefeated showdown at BRLD next Friday.

Both teams should win though setting up a monster game of gigantic proportions.

The Wolverines can't overlook Bergan though.

BRLD has to come out and smack Bergan in the mouth early, and dominate from the onset.

The Wolverines need to play a great game Friday night in order to come out on top.

BRLD has to be incredibly impressive and take it to the Knights for four quarters.

The Wolverines need to not only win, but win big as well.

BRLD has to get fired, pumped, jacked, and psyched up for this one.

The Wolverines need to hit hard in this game and play very physical.

Gatzemeyer has to do his thing and BRLD has to go out there and shine.

The Wolverines need to make big plays in the passing game as well as the running game.

The defense has to force turnovers and come up with a lot of stops as well.

BRLD has to play their best game of the year, and play even better than they did against Oakland-Craig last week.

The Wolverines really impressed me last week, and I look for and expect big things from BRLD once again this week.
