Logan View/Scribner-Snyder falls at home to Columbus Scotus
The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Football Team lost 42-22 at home to Columbus Scotus Friday night in action aired on 107.9 the Bull.
The Raiders trailed 21-14 at one point in the game, but that was as close as they would get.
I thought LVSS did a nice job of competing and making the game close for a while.
The Raiders (0-8) take on West Point-Beemer (3-5) on the road Friday night to wrap up the season.
The Cadets lost 60-6 at Pierce last week.
I wouldn't be shocked if Logan View/Scribner-Snyder went in there and found a way to win.
The Raiders have to want it more though, and must play harder with more sense of urgency and purpose than the Cadets.
West Point-Beemer may not want it as much as Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, and may not care as much.
I look for the Raiders to fight for a big win, and try and pick up their first and only win of the season.
It has been a season of frustrating close calls for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder, and the Raiders have to take a full season's frustration out on the Cadets.
LVSS has to throw the kitchen sink at West Point-Beemer.
The Raiders have to be like a caged animal ready to burst and breakout.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has to hit hard and lay the smackdown on the Cadets.
Pancake blocks and big decleating blocks will be big and important I feel.
This is essentially like a playoff game for the Raiders as it is their season finale.
Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has absolutely nothing to lose in this one so they need to come out and play well.
The Raiders have to grind and pound the ball right at West Point-Beemer, and wear down the Cadets.
A victory would be very sweet for Logan View/Scribner-Snyder no doubt, but it won't come easy you wouldn't think.
Still though West Point-Beemer has really struggled the last couple of weeks so you have to wonder how much motivation they have right now.
I feel the Raiders could be more hungry and motivated than what the Cadets will be, but we will see.
I fully expect it to be a close game and for both teams to really get after one another and fight hard until the very end.
