The Wisner-Pilger Football Team won 68-12 at Winnebago Friday night.
The Gators led 24-0 at the end of one and 40-6 at halftime.
Wisner-Pilger blanked the Indians 22-0 in the 3rd quarter to lead 62-6 at the end of three.
Both teams scored 6 points in the 4th quarter.
Really nice win for the Gators.
Wisner-Pilger (5-0) plays host to Homer (3-2) Friday night.
The Knights lost 68-26 at Wakefield last week.
Homer beat Winnebago by 60, but after last week I think the Gators could very well be the better team.
I look for Wisner-Pilger to pull out the win Friday night.
I think the Gators will win, setting up a District Championship Showdown with Wakefield the last week of the regular season.
It should be a heck of a game Friday night, and I'm sure the Knights will play well.
Wisner-Pilger has to play the way they did last week.
That was by far the Gators' best performance of the season from an offensive standpoint.
Wisner-Pilger exploded offensively, something they hadn't really done or shown all season long.
The Gators need to keep improving and fine tuning the offense, but as long as they can do that they should be fine.
Wisner-Pilger has to turn in another great and outstanding performance Friday night to come away with the win.
The Gators need to play well and up to their potential.
If Wisner-Pilger struggles or has an off game it could prove to be costly.
The Gators need to play up to their capability Friday night, and let it all hang out.
Wisner-Pilger has to take the bull by the horns and play great Football Friday night.
The Gators have to finish what they started, and a win over the Knights means Wisner-Pilger would be one win away from a perfect and undefeated regular season.
That would be an amazing and tremendous accomplishment for the Gators, but Wisner-Pilger has to come out and take care of business Friday night.
If the Gators don't win on Friday that means their hopes of a perfect regular season will be dashed so Wisner-Pilger has to come out and get the job done.
