Clarkson/Leigh dominates Omaha Christian Academy

The Clarkson/Leigh Football Team won 80-0 at home over Omaha Christian Academy Friday night.

The Patriots led 44-0 at the end of one and 66-0 at halftime.

Clarkson/Leigh won the 3rd quarter 6-0 to go up 72-0 at the end of three..

The Patriots blanked the Eagles 8-0 in the 4th quarter.

Kyle Kasik had 8 carries for 103 yards and four touchdowns. Isaak Wiese had 3 carries for 99 yards, including three touchdowns while Eli Hays had 80 yards rushing on 9 carries, and scored twice.

Drew Beeson made 9 tackles while Carter Hanel had 7.

Clarkson/Leigh had 344 yards of total offense, all on the ground.

Good, all around solid performance and win for the Patriots.

Clarkson/Leigh (3-2) battles Cedar Bluffs (0-5) on the road Friday night.

The Wildcats fell 76-16 at Pender Friday night.

The Patriots beat the Pendragons 60-6 so this should be another easy and lopsided win for Clarkson/Leigh.

The Patriots have to keep running the ball well, and must keep getting contributions from everyone.

Hays, Wiese, and Lance Paprocki all need to have big games for Clarkson/Leigh.

The Patriots should be able to run the ball at will on Cedar Bluffs, but the boys up front have to get the job done.

Clarkson/Leigh has to come out and run the ball well, efficiently, and effectively.

The Patriots have to perform at a high level and play up to their potential.

Clarkson/Leigh has to do exactly what they did against Omaha Christian Academy, and not change a thing.

The Patriots could perhaps use better production in the passing game, but if the run is working then there's really no need to throw the ball.

Still though Clarkson/Leigh may need to throw the ball on Mead and a little bit against Emerson-Hubbard in their last two regular season games to be able to win those ball games.

I think the Mead game next week could very well decide who wins the District, but the Patriots can't be looking ahead to that contest.

Clarkson/Leigh has to take care of business against Cedar Bluffs, and dominate the Wildcats.

The Patriots have to play well for four quarters, and move the ball the way they did against the Eagles.

Clarkson/Leigh has to put this game away early and get everyone some valuable experience and playing time.

80-0 is a great win, and this week should be another big and huge win for the Patriots.

Clarkson/Leigh has to come out and play well from the start, and jump on Cedar Bluffs early.

The Patriots can't afford to let the Wildcats hang around and think they have a chance at winning the game.

Clarkson/Leigh has to take Cedar Bluffs out of the game early and leave no doubt.
