West Point-Beemer wins final game of season over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder

The West Point-Beemer Football Team won 21-0 at home over Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Friday night.

Good season ending win for the Cadets.

West Point-Beemer concludes the year with a 4-5 record.

Not quite the same type of season the Cadets had last year or the year before, but still a good year nonetheless.

All 5 teams West Point-Beemer lost to are in the playoffs, and none have a record worse than 6-3.

The Cadets were young and raw this year, and with a lot of weightlifting and skill honing I feel West Point-Beemer can and will be a force to be reckoned with next year.

Seniors lost to graduation include Korbin Hardenbrook, Steven Ornelas, Gavin Voelker, Jesus Ramirez, Jacob Reimers, Gary Walker, Garret Kaup, Jose Silverio, Bailey Hickey, David Garcia, Jesus Martinez, and Fred Spalder.

All these players played big roles over the last four years for the Cadets.

Key returners include Jesus Barragan, Keegan Doggett, Manny Barragan, Harrison Jordan, Arturo Barrios, Alejandro Edeza, Riley Penrose, Drake Repschlaeger, Zach Vander Griend, and Miguel Perez.

I think the future is very bright for West Point-Beemer.

Lots of young players who got very valuable experience this season.

The Cadets have to work and play hard this offseason.

West Point-Beemer has to get bigger, faster, and stronger.

I feel there's a lot of room for growth and improvement among these young men.

I feel the Cadets have a chance to do well next year and get back to the playoffs.

West Point-Beemer has to work extremely hard this offseason and get ready to go at it again next year.

The returning players and newcomers need to try and have good winter and spring sports seasons to kind of set the tone for success next fall so to speak.

I really do believe that success in other sports leads to more success on the gridiron, whether it's basketball, wrestling, track, golf, or baseball.

The Cadets have to really get after it this offseason, and comeback better next year than they were this year.
