Winnebago falls to Wisner-Pilger

The Winnebago Football Team lost 68-12 at home to Wisner-Pilger Friday night.

The Gators led 24-0 at the end of one and 40-6 at halftime.

Wisner-Pilger blanked the Indians 22-0 in the 3rd quarter to lead 62-6 at the end of three.

Both teams scored 6 points in the 4th quarter.

Another tough loss and tough pill to swallow for Winnebago.

The Indians (0-5) take on Omaha Nation (0-5) on the road Friday night.

The Chiefs lost 70-0 at GACC last week.

Winnebago should win this one fairly big I would think.

This will likely be the most competitive game of the season for both teams.

It has been a rough season for both teams, but the Indians' games have been a little bit more competitive and closer.

Still though it's a game of something's gotta give.

Someone is going to pick up their first win of the year while the other is going to go home trying to figure out how they're going to win a game.

Both teams have tough games the rest of the season after this one so this is probably Winnebago's best shot at a win this year.

I think the Indians will get it too, and find a way to win.

Winnebago has to come out play well from the get go, and must get out to a big, early lead.

And if the Indians do that they have to keep scoring and putting pressure on Omaha Nation.

Winnebago has to be relentless and unkind to the Chiefs Friday night.

The Indians have to inflict as much punishment as possible with their hitting.

Winnebago has to hit hard and must try and strip the ball and create turnovers.

The Indians have to gamble and take chances on defense.

Winnebago has to make the most of their opportunity in this game, and find a way to come out and win.

The Indians need to play well and a complete game from start to finish.

Winnebago has to play incredible Football all game long, and take it to Omaha Nation.

This is a must win game for the Indians as this is simply a game Winnebago shouldn't and can't afford to lose.
