Tekamah-Herman picks up 3rd win of year over Louisville
The Tekamah-Herman Football Team defeated Louisville 32-22 at home Friday night.
The Tigers went up 14-6 at the end of one before leading 20-14 at halftime.
Tekamah-Herman shutout the Lions 6-0 in the 3rd quarter to go up 26-14 at the end of three.
Louisville won the 4th quarter 8-6.
Luke Wakehouse had 222 yards rushing on 21 carries, and scored four touchdowns.
Clay Beaumont completed 1-2 passes for a 65-yard touchdown to Chauncey Rogers.
Kody Bitter and Garrison Potadle each had 15 tackles while Connor Feiling notched 10.
The Tigers had 317 yards of total offense, including 252 on the ground.
Great win for Tekamah-Herman. To get to 3 wins is a big deal for the Tigers.
Tekamah-Herman (3-5) closes out the season at Fremont Bergan (6-2) Friday night.
The Knights lost 42-36 at home in overtime to BRLD last week.
Tough game for the Tigers, but I fully expect Tekamah-Herman to go in there and play well.
These seniors have had quite the ride for the Tigers over the last four years.
They've been hit and dealt with so much adversity, and should be very proud of themselves.
The way Tekamah-Herman has conducted themselves and gone about their business has been very impressive.
The Tigers have improved every season the last 5 years, and should be very proud of their efforts.
This is the best season Tekamah-Herman has had in recent years, and they should take great pride in that.
It all comes to an end on Friday though, and that's why the Tigers have to go out there and play the game of their lives.
Tekamah-Herman went into Yutan and won last year, and I think this game is similar in many ways.
The Tigers have to take care of the ball and can't turn it over.
Tekamah-Herman has to play a perfect and flawless game if they want to come out on top.
The Tigers can definitely win too, but they have to get very physical and hit hard.
Bergan has a lot to play for in terms of the playoffs and seeding, but Tekamah-Herman has a lot to play for in terms of pride.
The Tigers have to play with a lot of hard and run the ball well on the Knights.
Tekamah-Herman has to play with the heart of a champion, and take the fight to Bergan for four quarters.
This is it, this is the final game of the season, and the final high school football game of these seniors' careers.
It's most likely the last organized football game most if not all of these seniors will ever play in their lives.
Forever is about to happen on Friday, and the Tigers have to go out there and play like there is no tomorrow because there's not.
