West Point-Beemer beats Boone Central/Newman Grove on the road

The West Point-Beemer Football Team picked up a big win at Boone Central/Newman Grove Friday night, winning 28-13.

The Cadets gave up 187 yards of total offense, including 111 rushing.

Great win for West Point-Beemer, going into Albion and winning the way they did.

The Cadets (3-3) host Wayne (4-2) Friday night.

The Blue Devils beat Logan View/Scribner-Snyder 16-0 at home last week.

Wayne also beat Arlington 7-6 on the road, a team West Point-Beemer beat 34-29 on the road.

I think the Cadets can definitely beat the Blue Devils, and quite honestly should.

I was really impressed with West Point-Beemer last week, and look for the Cadets to play well once again this week.

This game figures to go a long ways in determining if West Point-Beemer will make the playoffs or not.

I think the Cadets need to win two out of their last three to have a shot at the playoffs.

If West Point-Beemer can knock off Wayne and Logan View/Scribner-Snyder I think that could very well get the job done.

It's unlikely the Cadets will win at Pierce next week, but you never know.

If West Point-Beemer can finish the regular season 5-4 that would be a pretty good accomplishment for this young team I feel.

But the Cadets need to get this one against Wayne or there will be no playoffs,

Lose to the Blue Devils and a losing season with no playoffs is what you likely face.

West Point-Beemer has to come out and play lights out and up to their potential Friday night.

The Cadets have to be dynamic offensively and play good defense like they did against the Cardinals.

West Point-Beemer has to defend their home field and make the plays necessary to win the game.

These two teams have had some good battles in recent years, and the Cadets have found ways to win close games over the Blue Devils before so that's exactly what West Point-Beemer has to do against Wayne again this year if that's what the situation calls for.

The Cadets have to come through in the clutch and make big plays when it counts.

I have total confidence and faith in West Point-Beemer that they can win and get the job done.

I feel the Cadets played their most complete game of the year last week, and look for West Point-Beemer to play well once again this week.
