West Point-Beemer falls at home to Wayne

The West Point-Beemer Football Team lost 28-11 at home to Wayne Friday night.

I thought the game would be more in the Cadets' favor and thought West Point-Beemer would possibly win, but that wasn't the case.

The Cadets (3-4) take on Pierce (7-0) on the road Friday night.

The Bluejays won 45-13 at Logan View/Scribner-Snyder last week.

West Point-Beemer has to go into Pierce and play like they did against Boone Central/Newman Grove on the road a couple of weeks ago.

The Cadets can definitely go in there and play and compete well, but it's not going to be easy.

The Bluejays are a very good team, and it's going to take a very strong and good effort from West Point-Beemer for the Cadets to win.

West Point-Beemer is going to need to catch some breaks and hope Pierce has an off game.

The Bluejays could definitely struggle too, but Pierce is really tough at home.

The Bluejays dominated the Blue Devils 42-0 at home so I'm not all for sure what type of game the Cadets are in for on Friday.

West Point-Beemer has to go into this game expecting to compete and win though.

The Cadets have to have the same mentality they had heading into the game against the Cardinals.

West Point-Beemer laid an egg against Wayne, and that can't happen again for the Cadets Friday night.

West Point-Beemer needs big games from everyone, and needs fantastic effort on both sides of the ball.

The Cadets have to be very physical at the line of scrimmage, and whip the Bluejays up front if at all possible.

I could see West Point-Beemer really struggling too, but I'm hopeful the Cadets can play well and make this a great ball game.

The Bluejays are very tough and good though so it will be interesting to see how this young West Point-Beemer team handles things.

I look for the Cadets to go in there and give it their best shot, win or lose.

I think West Point-Beemer will try their hardest and give it their all, which is all you can really ask for in the end.

Give maximum effort on all plays and go hard for four quarters, that's what the Cadets need to do.
