The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Football Team won 70-0 at home over Omaha Nation Friday night.

Cody Steffen rushed for 80 yards on 5 carries, and scored twice while Cash Meier had 7 carries for 72 yards, and scored twice. Noah Hass added 70 yards on 2 carries, and scored a touchdown.

Casey Doernemann had 8 tackles while Meier made 7.

The Bluejays totaled 305 yards of offense, 260 coming on the ground.

We got about what we expected in this ball game.

GACC (2-3) takes on Wakefield (4-1) on the road Friday night.

The Trojans won 68-26 at home over Homer last week.

Wakefield is a really good team, and the Bluejays are having a down year.

GACC has to go in there and step up their game in order to come away with the win.

The Bluejays need to play well from start to finish, and be opportunistic defensively and create turnovers.

GACC has to take chances on defense, and come away with key takeaways and stops.

The Bluejays really have nothing to lose in this game so might as well go out there and let it rip.

There shouldn't be any holding back or hesitation on GACC's part.

The Bluejays should play loose, confident, and relaxed knowing that they're the underdog and have nothing to lose.

It's weird talking about GACC as an underdog, but that's exactly what they are in this game.

The Bluejays have to go out there and play well and play a great and fantastic game Friday night.

GACC has to play amazing football from beginning to end, and must leave everything out on the field.

The Bluejays have to turn in their best performance of the year and season, and do whatever it takes to win.

GACC lost last year's game 38-22 so we'll see if the Bluejays can win this time around.

GACC really needs this game to have a good shot at the playoffs.

It's weird talking about the Bluejays and not making the playoffs, but if they don't at least win 2 out of their last 3 games they'll likely be sitting at home for the postseason.

GACC has to fight for their playoff lives, and come out and play a great game Friday night.

The Bluejays need to have a good week of practice and must come out and play amazing and fantastic football Friday night.

GACC needs to play well and can't hold anything back.
