Wisner-Pilger smacks Homer

The Wisner-Pilger Football Team put it on Homer at home Friday night, winning 62-28.

The Gators led 36-0 at the end of one and 50-7 at halftime.

The Knights won the 3rd quarter 14-12 to make it a 62-21 game at the end of three.

Homer blanked Wisner-Pilger 7-0 in the 4th quarter.

The defense gave up 150 yards of total offense, including 122 yards on the ground.

The Gators played great Football Friday night, it was very impressive to see.

Wisner-Pilger (6-0) takes on Omaha Nation (0-6) on the road Friday night.

The Chiefs lost 57-14 at home to Winnebago last week.

This should be another big win for the Gators.

Wisner-Pilger has to come out and dominate early and get a big lead and get backups in and rest starters for the Wakefield game next week.

Speaking of the Trojans, the Gators can't be looking ahead to them.

Wisner-Pilger has to be focused on beating Omaha Nation, and Omaha Nation only.

I look for the Gators to roll to a big and easy win.

It would be something if Wisner-Pilger could finish the regular season unbeaten, and they very well could.

I think it's important for the Gators to win big on Friday to set the stage for the Wakefield game next Friday.

I feel Wisner-Pilger is playing their best Football right now, but Friday's game is a chance and an opportunity to shore things up if there's anything that needs to be shored up.

Honestly I don't know if there is, but I'm sure the coaches will find something and point out things for the kids to work on and get better at.

Playing the Chiefs and beating them soundly should it happen should do a lot for the Gators' confidence if anything.

It also figures to be a chance for some kids to play who might not otherwise see the field a whole lot.

It also figures to be a chance for those kids to gain experience for the future, at least for those who are underclassmen this year.

Wisner-Pilger has been very dominant this year, and has to continue that domination on Friday.

The Gators have to go out and play a great game, and execute in all phases at a very high level.

Wisner-Pilger has to take care of business early and put Omaha Nation away.

The Gators can't allow the Chiefs to hang around and feel like they've got a shot.

Wisner-Pilger has to deliver the knock out blow early.
